CIS
700-010, GPU Programming and Architecture, taught
by Suresh
Venkatasubramanian from AT&T Labs at
the University of Pennsylvania in Spring 2005.
OpenVidia is being developed at the University
of Toronto. It has a chapter in the new GPU
Gems 2 book distributed by NVidia. They have developed
techniques for object tracking, image compositing, and
object tracking. Their work links to real time video.
PyFX
is a Python framework that makes using the GPU accelerated
image processing very easy.
Mac
OSX Tiger Core Image and CoreVideo exposes
the power of the GPU to mac users. They provide a large
array of filters, and have integrated it into their GUI,
aqua.
NVidia
Samples have numerous examples of Image Processing
on the GPU. Of particular interest are GPU Video
Effects, FFT on the GPU, Image
Processing, and Filter Blit.
Neural
Network on GPU
GPGPU
generally has most of the up to date information on Computer
Vision and Image Processing on teh GPU.
http://www.couleur.org/
contains important information about color conversion
algorithms, and which colorspaces are good for certain
purposes.
